This person will oversee the master list of parent volunteers who have been cleared by FWISD and are eligible to help with the band organization. Knowledge of Excel is very helpful!

The following committees will need LOTS of help:

Chaperones (riding on buses with band members)
Med Moms (assist the band members with “boo boos”, etc. during Band Camp & band events)
Fundraising (various fundraising activities – more details will be available from time to time)
Meal Moms (feed the band members before performances)

Chaperone assignments will be made for each game and competition individually. For each football game and competition we have created a volunteer registration page. Please indicate your availability in Charms by following the instructions below.

The purpose of using Charms this year is to identify who is available by date. You will receive a separate email for the dates which you are assigned as a chaperone. Your email confirmations will outline report time, departure time and any additional instructions as appropriate.

Important Note: You must be an approved volunteer through FWISD and volunteers are required to re-register every year. We cannot assign you as a chaperone until we receive confirmation of your approval so please complete this process as soon as you can. Instructions have been provided below:

FWISD Volunteer Application:

1. Go to: www.fwisd.org
2. Click on “Community”
3. Click on “Volunteers”
4. Click on “Volunteering In The Fort Worth ISD”
5. Select “Apply Now” and follow the steps

Charms:

1. Go to Charms
2. Click on “Calendar” and find the date(s) you are available
3. Click on the rainbow colored hand where it shows “Chaperone Volunteers”
4. Enter your name, email and phone number and click “Enter”
